Nanyang Strings Ensemble (NYSE)

The Nanyang String Ensemble, founded in 2015, is a Student Interest Group comprising violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. It brings together students who are passionate about string music and ensemble performance.

The Ensemble provides members with opportunities to develop their musicianship, perform with commitment and excellence, and explore a wide range of repertoire, including classical works and movie soundtracks. Members regularly perform at college events such as Open House, and Community Involvement Programme (CIP) projects.

Through its activities, the Nanyang String Ensemble encourages students to take ownership of their musical growth, perform with dedication, and share the joy of music with the College and the wider community.
