NYJC Research Programme

NYJC Research Programme aims to support students in exploring beyond the classroom. We hope to inculcate a strong culture of exploration, innovation and excellence in our students. This would prepare them to be future leaders in research.

Selected students will be given opportunities to develop their interest and deepen their learning in various fields. They would be mentored by our teachers, in collaboration with our partners in local research and academic institutions.

NTU Nanyang Research Programme (NRP)	Open to all JC1 students with strong interest in research in sciences, mathematics, humanities and social sciences	24 Feb 2026
A*STAR Science Award (JC)	Open to all JC1 students who are holding Singapore citizenship Achieved outstanding performance in Science and Mathematics Have a passion for science and research	TBC
DSTA JC Scholarship	Open to all JC1 students who are holding Singapore citizenship Good academic and CCA track records Have a passion for science and technology	23 Feb 2026
MOE Overseas Student Attachment Programme (OSAP)	Open to all JC1 students who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents Distinction in English A1 for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics A1 for two pure Science subjects or A1 in one pure Science and Computing/Computer Science Should have strong passion in STEM and research Should have prior Research experience Should be outstanding in their co-curricular activities; and should have good communication skills	6 Feb 2026 (8am)
NY Research Partnerships	Open to all JC1 students Have a passion for science and research	TBC
Engineering & Tech Programme and Scholarship (ETPS)	· Open to all JC1 students who are holding Singapore citizenship · At least a A2 for a mathematics and a science subject in GCE O Level Examination · Have good co-curricular activities record, particularly in STEM areas. · Not currently be in receipt of any MOE scholarships (except Edusave Scholarships) · You must offer H2 Mathematics and at least one of the following subjects: Ø H2 Physics Ø H2 Computing Ø H2 Further Mathematics	25 Feb 2026
NYJC collaboration with NUS College of Design and Engineering (CDE)	Research opportunities offered by various NUS CDE departments in December holidays. Have a passion for science and research	TBC
